Help Each Other
Share knowledge. Uplift your study community.
Zero Harassment
Bullying, hate speech, and spam are not tolerated.
1. Username & Display Name Rules
No profanity or offensive language. Usernames containing slurs, swear words, or inappropriate terms will be blocked automatically and may result in a ban.
No impersonation. Do not use names like "Admin", "StudyVerse", "Official", "Moderator" or imitate any other user or public figure.
Use a real or meaningful name. Gibberish, symbol-only, or number-only names are discouraged.
Names must be 2–50 characters and contain only letters, spaces, hyphens, or apostrophes.
2. Respectful Behaviour
No harassment or bullying. Any form of targeted harassment, threats, or personal attacks toward any member is strictly forbidden.
No hate speech. Content that discriminates based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, or disability is not allowed.
No spam. Avoid sending repeated, irrelevant, or promotional messages in group chats or support tickets.
Constructive discussions only. Debate ideas, not people. Disagreements should be handled respectfully.
3. Content Standards
No adult or explicit content. StudyVerse is an educational platform. Sharing NSFW images, videos, or text is grounds for immediate ban.
No sharing personal information of others. Do not share phone numbers, addresses, or any private data of other users without consent.
Academic integrity. Using AI or sharing answers in a deceptive manner that violates your institution's academic honesty policy is your personal responsibility.
Share useful study content. Notes, PDFs, and resources uploaded to groups should be relevant and educational.
4. Group Chat Rules
Group names must be appropriate. Group names follow the same profanity rules as usernames. Inappropriate group names will be removed.
Group admins are responsible for maintaining a respectful environment within their group. Misuse of admin powers will result in removal.
Do not share invite codes publicly on external platforms to flood groups with unwanted members.
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations are reviewed by StudyVerse admins. We reserve the right to take action at any severity level depending on the nature of the violation.
| Violation Level | Examples | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | Slightly inappropriate username, spam messages | Warning notification sent |
| Moderate | Repeated violations, mild harassment, profanity in chats | Final warning + content removal |
| Severe | Hate speech, explicit content, severe harassment | Immediate account ban |
6. Ban Appeals
If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can submit an appeal from the login page. Click "Account banned? Submit an appeal".
Appeals are reviewed within 48–72 hours. Provide a clear, honest explanation. False or abusive appeals may result in a permanent ban.
Only one open appeal is allowed at a time. Submitting multiple appeals for the same ban will not speed up the review process.
